We recently had the honor of photographing the Columbia Community Foundation’s Annual Fall Gala. The Fall Gala is a fundraising dinner used to raise funds for a variety of their philanthropic efforts. The Gala is located at The Columbia Ballroom, a rustic hall that has been a staple of Columbia Station since 1931. It is hosted by the Columbia Community Foundation’s Board of Directors, which is lead by their President Wayne Brassel. The evening includes a silent auction as well as a live auction where a variety of donated items were raffled off. The live auction even included a member of the Columbia Community Foundation’s Board of Directors auctioning of his own hat! Throughout the evening, the foundation honored community members with awards for their service.
A highlight of the evening was the selling of bottles of wine with a key attached for a chance to open a case containing a diamond necklace. The necklace was graciously donated to the even by North Coast Awards. One lucky winner had the honor of opening the elegant necklace!
We would like to thank the Columbia Community Foundation for letting us be a part of this truly special event.
