The Morning of Forever
On Saturday, August 9th, 2025, Jamie Suydam and Lucas Thomeier woke up to the most magical day of their lives — their wedding day! The morning began at the Courtyard Marriott in Willoughby, where Jamie and her bridesmaids prepared with laughter, excitement, and sweet moments shared with family. Her stunning dress, sparkling jewelry, and carefully chosen details set the tone for the day.
Meanwhile, Lucas and his groomsmen were also getting ready just down the hall, sharing jokes, tying ties, and anticipating the moment Lucas would see his bride.
A Father’s First Look
Before Jamie walked down the aisle, she shared an emotional first look with her father. This heartfelt moment was filled with happy tears and the kind of love that sets the tone for a wedding day.
The Sacred Ceremony
At 1:30 pm, family and friends gathered at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Wickliffe for a beautiful Catholic ceremony. Jamie and Lucas exchanged vows, offered flowers to the Virgin Mary, and shared a meaningful ritual of giving flowers to their parents — a gesture of love and gratitude. The church echoed with joy as they were officially pronounced husband and wife!
Family Portraits
After the ceremony, everyone gathered for family portraits filled with smiles, laughter, and cherished memories. Both sides of the family beamed with pride, and we captured everything from intimate immediate family shots to fun extended group photos. These photos are bound to be treasured for generations to come.
A Fairytale Backdrop
Following family portraits, Jamie and Lucas stole away for newlywed photos. Their first stop was the breathtaking Square’s Castle, where the timeless architecture and lush greenery created a storybook feel. From there, they strolled through the charming streets of Downtown Willoughby — the perfect mix of romance and rustic charm.
Reception at La Vera Party Center
The celebration continued at La Vera Party Center in Willoughby Hills. Guests were welcomed with cocktails before the couple made their grand entrance at 6:00 pm. Jamie and Lucas shared their first dance, cut their cake, and laughed through heartfelt speeches from their loved ones.
Dinner was served family-style, followed by sweet dances with parents, a lively bouquet and garter toss, and the fun tradition of the dollar dance. By the time open dancing began, the room was filled with pure joy and celebration.

Jamie and Lucas’s wedding was everything a couple could dream of — heartfelt, joyful, and filled with love. From quiet moments in the morning to a packed dance floor at night, their day was nothing short of magical.
